As we all know, nowadays everyone wants to be Youtuber. And when we talk about YouTube Comedy, Music and Tech are the top three categories videos are made on. Comedy & music is not everyone's cup of tea. Whereas Tech can be copied & managed somehow. And unfortunately such tech reviewers are gradually increasing on YouTube. As a result we are finding more & more morons posting Hands on Review/Quick Review right from the launch event itself. And the sad part is that apart from small YouTube channels even some big media group's tech division are doing that.
It's unfortunate that people watch such videos due to goodwill of the media group. Most of the tech related shows on TV & YouTube made by huge names in media are not good, at least here in India. More than reviews they simply do recitation of the specs. So, here's a list of some reliable Indian Tech Youtubers you should be following: Geekyranjit FoneArena C4ETech TechPP Today there's a huge chunk of Marketing strategies going on behind each and every product/services. Some get it right, others sit scratching head, just because they misunderstood marketing as science and tried to follow someone who already succeeded. But in reality, things keep on changing rapidly & by the time you decide to follow someone who succeeded, things have already changed. One can study others experience for reference, but trying to copy what exactly they did will end up to foolishness. Basically marketing is an art & one should act accordingly. Situation changes from time to time and you need to choose methods that suits you best. If a brand or firm in UK succeeded in a particular strategy, that doesn't mean the same strategy will work in Australia or India. Every country has its own culture & mentality. Things also differ based on economical & geographical situation. Marketing is not a code, which you can simply copy and paste in other markets and things are gonna work. For example, while I work on Social media marketing for a client from US, I would concentrate on Netflix, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook & Instagram mainly, but if the same client was from India I would concentrate on YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram & Twitter mainly. In the same way China has its own social media platform completely different from other countries. And if you are concentrating on chines market, there is no use of wasting time on Instagram. So, one has to analyse the market & act accordingly.
Hope this helps you to decide how to plan things. For further assistance fell free to comment below or you can always follow me on Twitter. I keep tweeting cool stuffs frequently. As we all know marketing is more of art than science and with time one has to keep working on it. For example lets take the case of Oneplus. A smartphone manufacturer making great devices at a very reasonable price. Last year they made their first device named Oneplus One, & people were crazy about it. The only thing that stopped some was the invite system. But that was pretty understandable as they were a new startup & could not match the demand in the market. But today they are pretty matured & have decent amount of goodwill in the market. But despite of it they went with the same crappy invite system which was a huge disappointment for all the Oneplus fans. And today the market scenario has changed & one has lot other options at that price point. Say the moto x style, mi note pro & many more coming on its way. Then why would anyone sit begging for invites when you can simply pay & buy phones from other brands.
Last year they didn't have much competition in that price to spec ratio. But today things have changed except for Oneplus invite system. Hope they kill that invite system very soon and be a huge player in market. If a companies marketing is mighty enough, it can easily fight even the huge brands in the market. Because nowadays customers are open minded & the tend to accept the new brands & products launched in the market with condition that the marketing is been done in an efficient manner that convinces & creates faith in the customers mind. Regardless the brand value of it's competitor.
There is a common question in everyone's mind " Does GRAMMAR & Spelling mistake matters in ranking?"24/12/2012 ![]() According to me these are the most important factors, because all websites are been made with a focus of selling something. Selling here includes services, income from Adv.,goods,etc. So, even if you are ranking high through PPC it will only increase the bounce rate of your site. Because the only factor which works after a visitor enters your site is the content of the site. And if there are grammar / spelling mistake in your content, it will spoil the reputation of your site and end up with high bounce rate. But as an Internet Marketing Consultant if I would only concentrate on ranking I would say it hardly makes some difference. Marketing does not works the same each time. It mainly depends on the latest trend in the market. If your product is out of fashion/trend it's next to impossible to push the product in the market. But that won't be the scenario after a gap, say if you got struck with a out of fashion product in the market, then the first & foremost thing you have to do is to pack it properly & store in a good place. You might be thing I am joking but that's the truth. It will be very hard to push a product which has been out of fashion recently, But if you are actually talented you could easily dump it after a gap when all you competitor will be busy finding the latest trend. This concept is not a sustain method of marketing but can be used at times. Market trend actually never changes at it's own but is been made to change by guys like us. As an entrepreneur i would say it's profitable for us if the trend changes frequently in the market, with accordance that you should understand the market & behave accordingly.
Now let's look at an example of good marketing. The video below is just an advertisement to join that guys site/subscribe for newsletters but look at the heading he has given "How to Increase Business with simple marketing Techniques & Strategies" it's obvious that anyone would be attracted by such heading further listen to his speech, he pressurizes some words like "exactly" which would increase your eagerness to know more. Such hidden qualities will help you out proving to be a better CMO (Chief Marketing Manager). ![]() Ye! It's next to impossible to sustain in this competitive market without branding your company & product/services. Because today we don't find anything like monopoly kind of market. The market is open to everyone, Day's when customers where completely illiterate about the products has vanished. Today everyone knows everything with the help of Google,Bing, etc. So, the only option left with you as a seller/manufacturer is to maintain the best quality & price. But simply maintaining quality & price won't help you initially, this things will help you to sustain you customer in long run. But initially to attract the customer towards your product is the most tuff job for any company/firm. This needs many factors among which branding is one of the most important factor. Once you are successful representing yourself as a reputed brand, 50% of the job is done. Because a brand creates an impression & faith on you and your products in the market. Customers feel more safe choosing your product, because they think that anyone won't spoil the image of their brand for a single product. And this logic of customer is the main chaises to the companies. For example: Say if two companies are launching a new product in the market at same time with all other factors same, but one is a reputed brand say like SONY or NOKIA and the other is a new company not familiar in the market. Even if the quality of the new company is better than this well known brands, it's obvious that anyone will go for the well known brand initially. |
